Our 3D printer has a build volume of 5.7 x 5.7 x 7.3 inches. This means your part has to fit within these size parameters keeping in mind part orientation and support structure. If your part is too big, we will work with you to come up with a solution. On the other hand, if you need multiple parts, we may be able to fit more than one on the build platform.
Each 3D part requires supports as it's printing. These supports can impact the finished look of the part. On the quote form, we ask you to point out areas of your part you'd like to keep clean. While we cannot guarantee those areas won't require supports, we do our best to position the part to meet your needs.
Once we receive your .STL file, it is then brought into a slicing software that helps us determine the best way to print your part based on the questions you've answered on the quote form.
Once built, your part goes through the part wash to remove any excess resin.
From there, it moves on to the curing process which uses UV light and heat to achieve optimal material properties based on the resin you've chosen.
Finally, we will remove the support structure, if requested, and send it on its way to you. High Five!
